RAWA is a political/social organization of Afghan women struggling for peace, freedom, democracy and women's rights in fundamentalism-blighted Afghanistan. Established in 1977, this women's organization has been recognized in their human rights campaign by many countries and Amnesty International.

**New Program Offers**
Leadership Lessons - a new series of half-day workshops geared toward getting practice in contextual leadership tools. It's a great opportunity for alumni to practice the skills learned in Women Leading Change and for newcomers to get a taste of our groundbreaking work.
These workshops will be held on the following dates from noon-5:00 in the San Jose/San Francisco area. Please bring your brown bag lunch!
