1. What's New at IWL?
Web-Site Re-designed
If you haven't been to our web site for awhile, please check out
our new format. You can now register on- line for programs, reunion lunches
and other events.
We've also created an 'Alumnae Passions' area to showcase your heart-felt commitments and an alumnae- only email list to support you in staying connected with one another!
2. Coaches Column
Welcome to the Coaches Column! Each month we revisit a coaching tip using
examples from IWL coaches' experiences.
Coaching Tip: What Does Consciousness Allow For?
Consider the possibility that reality is a function of how something occurs at a particular scale or magnification. For example, a table looks solid until you examine it through an electron microscope and suddenly see that it is dramatically more space that mass. For more: Click Here
Many thanks to Darla Atwood-Donovan (WLC 5/99) for organizing and clearly articulating our coaching tip.
3. Leadership, Somatics
and Horses
IWL is offering a Leadership, Somatics and Horses workshop to our alumnae
and other professional women on Thursday, April 27.
The focus of this workshop is on improving our ability to move in the world with intention and power ÿ principles of leadership. There will be no actual riding involved and in case you didn't know, horses are excellent coaches. For more information and to register: Click Here
Since striking out on our own in May 1999, we have focused our resources with the goal of becoming the number one resource in the world for women's leadership training and development.
We are in partnership with the Centre for Co-Creative Leadership (Canada) and with The Teleran Group (Australia) to ensure that we are growing as a global community.
At the request of several alumnae we have added two new in- house only programs -- Partners Leading Change (our co-ed course) and WLC for Women of Color. We are thrilled at the new partnerships being forged by having IWL be a more inclusive community. Click Here
On February 10th we launched the Consortium for Breakthroughs in Women's Leadership. This is a two-year project for ten Fortune 500 companies to cause a dramatic increase in the recruitment, advancement and retention of women leaders. Click Here
Our greatest challenge for this year could be meeting the expanding demand for our work. It requires us to own our accomplishments and be present to the difference we are making as a global community.
Please remember we are your partners for life in having the world work for you and everyone. Thanks for listening and your partnership, call or email anytime!
Love,
Rayona
