I manage a team of Foreign Exchange Advisors that help companies move money around the world and manage risk in a global economy. The Foreign Exchange Market today is a $1 trillion/day market and managing the risks and opportunities inherent in that market are critical to successful businesses today. I also lead a team of Financial Risk Management Advisors who advise customers on how to manage risks related to interest rate, equity and commodity exposure. Finally, I am leading an effort within Wells Fargo to broaden our product line in Treasury Management to include products with international features so that we can better serve our customers' overall money management needs for their day-to-day business.
2) When and why did you attend WLC (Women Leading Change)?
I heard about WLF through our HR group when Rayona came to Wells Fargo to pitch the program! I think I was one of the few that signed up and it changed my life! I have also recently attended ELSC. 3) Can you share a little bit about your experience attending Executives Leading Sustainable Change (ELSC)? I really enjoyed ELSC and found it a positive experience that helped me renew and recharge! I left feeling inspired and ready to inspire my team to continue to produce exponential results. I really enjoy having the ongoing coaching access too, to help keep that feeling created in-session, alive! 4) What skills have you used the most since the program(s)? I believe we limit ourselves with our conclusions about what is probable and I have learned to go for what is possible instead. It's amazing what happens when you raise the bar and are committed to generative results. Things that appear to be improbable at first can happen! 5) What results are you most proud of having produced? Leading and inspiring a wonderful team of people. Our group has grown exponentially and is now in 13 key markets around the country. Accepting additional responsibilities to help grow FRM in 2000, which doubled their business by end year 2001, and now leading our International Treasury Management efforts. 6) What resources do you want from or do you have to offer the rest of the IWL community as you continue your leadership journey? I believe that I am a walking testimonial to the power of designing your life. I have a very fulfilling career, a happy marriage, and the wonderful honor of being a present and loving mother to my two daughters who are 10 and 8 years old. I would love to help women who struggle with that balance! Tracey can be reached at warsont@WellsFargo.com
